Have Your Say – The Surrey Debate

Across the country, the public sector is facing significant spending reductions; from healthcare to highways, Surrey’s public services will be changing. To ensure we keep our county special, we want to hear your views.

From now until the final budget decisions in February, we will be speaking to Surrey residents about the ongoing spending review, to gather opinions on existing public services and get your suggestions for where savings could be made. We want you to get involved in helping to shape Surrey’s future.

Whether it’s discussing the future of local hospitals, libraries or police stations; highlighting the priority services for you and your family; or suggesting ways you can support your community through volunteering, we are keen to hear your views.

There are lots of ways to join the Surrey debate, so make sure you have your say.

Visit www.surreyhaveyoursay.info (after 15th Oct 2010) for online discussion forums and event toolkits providing guidance on how to run your own debates with your community group, neighbours or family.

Feedback forms will be available at your local council buildings and libraries.

You can also submit your views via email, or twitter: @surreymatters. Alternatively call us on: 03456 009 009 for more information.
